The House

This spacious villa is set in a large wooded-tiered garden, just outside the quaint market-village of Lorgues in the Var region of Provence. The villa is bright and tastefully furnished in the typical Provençal style and is a great setting for a relaxing holiday in the sun in the famous French Riviera region.

All four guest bedrooms are air-conditioned and have private en-suite bathrooms. The villa also includes a large salon with a fireplace, a spacious dining room with an American-style kitchen, a wood-paneled billiard’s room, a well-stocked library with a fireplace, a swimming pool, and 2 terraces ideal for sunbathing and Alfresco dining.

Description of the Guest Bedrooms.

The Oriental Princess Room – This bedroom is called the Oriental Princess Room because of its four-poster canopy bed and its red-oriental color theme and furniture!  It also leads out to the back garden where there are olive and fig trees.  The bedroom sleeps 2 people comfortably and has a private bathroom adjacent to it.

The Lavender Room – This bedroom is called the Lavender Room because of its lavender color.  Its French doors opens out to the back garden where we are planning to develop a small lavender garden.  It has a double bed that sleeps 2 people comfortably and its own private bathroom.

The Pool-side Room – This bedroom is called the Pool-side Room because it is located on the south side of the villa with French doors leading out to the swimming pool.  It has a queen-size bed and a large en-suite bathroom. 

The Library Suite – This bedroom is called the Library Suite because it is situated just above the library.  It faces the east-side of the property and overlooks the terrace adjacent to the kitchen.  It has a double bed that sleeps 2 people comfortably and its own private bathroom.  The library itself has a pull-out sofa bed that can sleep 2 people comfortably.  So, the Library Suite can sleep 4 people altogether, if extra space is needed.

The Property

Villa Soleil Rose is situated in the beautiful medieval market town of Lorgues in the heart of Provence. We are 30 minutes to the coast and the sun-kissed beaches of St Tropez, 40 minutes from the picturesque Gorge du Verdon, in the middle of famous vineyards of the Cote de Provence, and within 60-90 minutes drive to Monaco, Monte Carlo, Nice, Antibes, Cannes, Aix-en-Provence and Marseille.

Description of the Property and Region

The grounds include a private swimming pool, a “Zen” garden, fountains and a large wooded, tiered garden with olive trees, fig trees and cypresses.  The town of Lorgues is located in the heart of the famous Cote de Provence wine county and there are more than 50 well-known wineries located within 30 minutes drive of the Villa.  The famous Mediterranean beaches of St Tropez and St Maxime are within 30-40 minutes from the Villa and the Gorge du Verdon – the French grand canyon – is a picturesque 40 minutes drive north from Villa Soleil Rose.
